This Regulation is an integral part of the Convention between the Residence and the Artist.

In case of dispute, the court of justice is in Sion, capital of the canton of Valais

 

Article 1

The usual duration of the occupancy of the Residence is normally between one and two weeks.

 

Article 2

Only the Artist is allowed to live at the Residence. If he invites a third party, he must first obtain the authorization of a member of the Council of the Residence, even for a short stay.

In any cases, the Artist is responsible for the persons he invites to the Residence.

Pets are not allowed in the apartment and it is also forbidden to smoke.

 

Article 3

A member of the Council of the Residence will welcome each Invited Artist on his arrival in Switzerland and will accompany him to the Residence in Zermatt

Upon his arrival at the Residence and at the time of his departure, the usual formalities are carried out with the inventory of the furniture and the equipment.

 

Article 4

The Residence can not be held liable for damage caused to the luggage, personal belongings and works of the Artist.

It is strongly recommended to the Artist have insurance to cover any damages that may be incurred during his stay at the Residence.

 

Article 5

The Artist must inform a member of the Council of the Residence if he is absent for more than one day and, in case of early departure, at least 48 hours in advance.

 

Article 6

A member of the Residence Council may at any time ask to visit the apartment.

 

Article 7

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to modify the installations and equipent. It is also forbidden to make noise after 10 pm and before 8 am.

 

Article 8

a) Non-compliance with the Convention, breaches of this Regulations and any inappropriate behavior may conduct to the exclusion of the Residence and reimbursement of the damages caused.

b) In this extreme situation, the Artist will leave the Residence within the time indicated.

 

Article 9

Admission to the Residence becomes effective when the Artist has signed this by-law and the Convention.

 

Article 10

The French version of this agreement will prevail in the event of a dispute. The court of justice is located in Sion.
